Fragile Eternity by Melissa Marr

Fragile Eternity by Melissa Marr
Publisher: HarperCollins
Pages: 389
My Rating:
Wicked Lovely and Ink Exchange author Melissa Marr delivers another little masterpiece of Urban Faery, that budding subgenre. In this ethereal romance, Aislinn has achieved the fragile eternity of the title; she has become an immortal faery, complicating both her life and that of Seth, the man who loves her.

Before, I wasn't too into reading YA books about fey, but Wicked Lovely was an exception. I gave it a try, and I found myself flying through the pages. Fragile Eternity was a fantastic read. We finally get to find out what happens after Wicked Lovely. Throughout the book Seth feels far away from Ash because she accepted to become Summer Queen alongside Kennan, and he's bound to her.

The writing is good and understandable. I liked the scenes Melissa wrote with Donia and Kennan, those were so realistic it made me feel like part of the story. Though at some points I found myself getting distracted because the story wasn't moving along too quickly. The ending pages were lighting, I flipped and flipped through the reading.

Overall, Fragile Eternity is a well written book, any Wicked Lovely fan will enjoy this book. Now I'm anxiously waiting for The Darkest Mercy.

Blessed/Darkest Mercy Book Trailer!

A while ago I posted this post about Blessed by Cynthia Leitich Smith.
With a wink and a nod to Bram Stoker, bestselling author Cynthia Leitich Smith unites the casts of Tantalize and Eternal in a delicious dark fantasy her fans will devour.

Quincie Morris, teen restaurateur and neophyte vampire, is in the fight of her life — or undeath. Even as she adjusts to her new appetites, she must clear her best friend and true love, the hybrid-werewolf Kieren, of murder charges; thwart the apocalyptic ambitions of Bradley Sanguini, the seductive vampire-chef who “blessed” her; and keep her dead parents’ restaurant up and running. She hires a more homespun chef and adds the preternaturally beautiful Zachary to her wait staff. But with hundreds of new vampires on the rise and Bradley off assuming the powers of Dracula Prime, Zachary soon reveals his true nature — and his flaming sword — and they hit the road to staunch the bloodshed before it’s too late. Even if they save the world, will there be time left to salvage Quincie’s soul?

What do you think about it?

Also the book trailer for The Darkest Mercy by Melissa Marr was released. As of now there isn't a code to post here but you can watch it here.

Random Post: Notification

I know I've had Nightshade by Andrea Cremer on my 'Currently Reading' on the sidebar→
and I haven't finished it and given a new book review. This is due to College Finals. Most of my time has gone to studying, studying, and more studying. I haven't gotten the chance to finishing it. Now that tomorrow is my last day of Fall semester ,I will have time over the holidays to read the rest of the books I've had stacked on my shelf.

Here's a list of the upcoming books I'll be reading and reviewing:

Nightshade by Andrea Cremer
Prophecy of the Sister by Michelle Zink
Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
The Lost Saint by Bree Despain
Fragile Eternity by Melissa Marr

I'll add more once I find my TBR List.
